11/4/2011 - KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airmen from the 353rd Special Operations Maintenance Squadron worked around the clock to ensure MC-130s here from the 353rd Special Operations Group were ready to fly missions supporting real-world and exercise missions during a local operational readiness inspection here Oct. 24-28.

During the exercise, the maintenance professionals kept multiple MC-130s ready eventhough they were constantly tested by evaluators during exercise Beverly High 12-1. The group's exercise simulated ground and air attacks, casualty events, operating in a chemical warfare environment, generating and maintaining aircraft, flying various special operations missions, and career-specific tasks that tested almost every combat support specialty within the unit.
